Coach Jones comments, "I have had the pleasure of coaching James for two seasons.  He represents and lives the six pillars of character.  James is a young man who does not draw attention to himself,  but is a leader through his actions.  His attitude is one of the best I have ever experienced.  He is self motivated and a strong positive influence to those associated with him.  His work ethic and how he quietly gets things done without wanting the spotlight are inspiring.  James is one of the finest young men I've ever been around."

James has been recognized as Best New Cadet and is on the Superintendent's List.  He is involved with Life Teen, and plays on the Roswell Galaxy (soccer) and the Pecos Valley Rattlers (baseball).  At NMMI he is active in Basketball and Baseball, as well as, Soccer.  He future education plans are to major in Engineering at either MIT or West Point.
