Girl's Cross CountryGODDARD HIGH SCHOOL
Coach Dyer states, "It is my pleasure to recommend Kendra Brown for this year's award as Goddard Girls Cross Country person. She not only possesses, but also exhibits, all six pillars of Character Counts! in her daily life. This is the fourth year I have coached her in Cross Country and I have found her work ethic and respect for others outstanding. Her desire and determination to excel, her patience of others, her ability to lead by example, and her ability to listen and understand are the reasons I named her Co-Captain of the team. She is courteous and well mannered and has represented her family, her team, her school, and the City of Roswell very well. She is a person we are very fortunate to have representing us." While at Goddard, Kendra has been recognized as NMSU Honor Scholar, UNM Star Scholar, Who's Who Among High School Students, Track and Cross Country Academic All-District Team, and has gone to State in Cross Country two (2) years. She is active in the Business & Professional Association, Varsity Track, Varsity Cross Country, Honor Society and maintains a 4.0 G.P.A. She attends church at Calvary Baptist. Her future education plans are to attend Texas Tech or West Texas A&M and major in Psychology. |
